This is from The Sun (The UK's  National Enquirer), so it's very hard to tell how much truth is involved....But it it's real then it pretty cool.


A SCHOOLBOY has captured eerie footage of what he claims is a ghost striding towards banisters at his home.

Terrified Reece Pitman, 12, heard whistling — and used his mobile to film the shadowy being.

It came days after his nine-year-old sister complained that someone was mysteriously finishing her jigsaws at night.

"It crosses the landing and disappears when it reaches the banisters.”

Tonia, of Solihull, Birmingham, said she consulted a psychic who told her the ghost could be friendly.

Sales assistant Tonia said: “I’ve had a tough time recently as my husband left me. I didn’t believe in ghosts — but I’m thinking of the spectre as my guardian angel.”

Julian Banks of the British Paranormal Society said the film was “potentially the best image of a ghost in years”.

That was pretty cool, there is no doubt that a shadow moved through the frame.  But like you said Ghost, it's from The Sun so can we believe it?

Well you guys know me by now. You pretty much have to prove to me that it's not real.... But ....the one and only thing that I found questionable here ...besides that it's a tabloid story....is that most of the time when shooting a video ppl have a tendency to dwell on things too long. This kid darted from one shot to the next until he got to the landing were the ghost came into view. If the shadow figure had been any place else we would never have seen it. He lingered in just the right spot which is a flag that Ghost1 would usually point out...lol  He is just a kid so there is no way that I would say that he did that on purpose. I am only saying that it struck me as peculiar.  And I have heard that even tabloid stories are sometimes true. In any case I very much enjoyed the story and the video Ghost1. Thank you.

Could it be a shadow being cast from someone walking in the hallway behind him....notice the lighting... it would cast a shadow in the direction in front of him.....just putting it out there....other than that I have no idea what it could be but a.........................................................

Ro you should watch it again. I don't think that could be a shadow from someone behind him. For one thing I don't think there was anyone with him. Use the link and go to the original story. It also says there was someone from a Paranormal Society that looked at the footage and said that it was some of the best footage that he had ever seen. Of course I don't know this person or this paranormal group and it all comes from the Sun but just on the surface it looks pretty awesome!

I was looking at the article over at the Sun Site and the comments that were made by the ppl reading it. Here is one that agrees with what Ro thought it might be.

Yes kids do film all the time, my nephew seems to think he'll be the next steven spielberg, as for it being a shadow, a shadow would run flat against a surface as it moved, stretching a skewing as it went, try it yourself.
Also one last thing, don't forget, when the sun upload it to view or even youtube, they convert to flash and inevitably lose a little quality making it blocky.
Not saying it is or isn't a ghost, but would like to see the original footage!/b]

Sure as heck seems like a shadow person....but...Either way it is a VERY interesting video and we will never know for sure only that kid knows the truth....lol...........
