New trip
« on: Aug 01 2009 - 02:24PM »
Hi all,

I'm looking for ideas for a new group paranormal trip, It's going to be hard to beat the Waverly trip though.  But lets see what we can come up with?

Bartonville Asylum in Peotone - http://www.prairieghosts.com/barton.html It's private property, but perhaps some conversing with the owner could net results.

Lincoln Theatre in Decatur - http://www.haunteddecatur.com/lincoln.html

If I were there and could go I would vote for Resurection Cemetary.  :*:

is that the cemetary with ressurection Mary?  My aunt works at a bar down the road and she says that she has seen her once and that she freaked out and got into her car and left very quickly.

Welcome to the boards svcavazos! That sounds like an intersting event. Any other details about what she looked like or what she was wearing or exactly were
she was at and what she was doing?

How about Fargo Mansion in Lake mills Wisconsin . Originally owned by one of the Wells Fargo team (obviously Fargo) .The story is he had an affair with a relative brought in to tend to his ailing wife , thinking his wife was dying but she recovered so he murdered her. They say she haunts the house and she had two pet bears that stayed out side in a pit and they haunt the gardens. It is now a bed an breakfast  but the haunting supposedly continue.

Well, if you're interested in Resurrection, why not do a whole Archer Tour?

Start at Mt. Olivet & Elmhurst in Joliet, then travel north on IL 171 (Archer) to Palos Hills Memorial Gardens, up to St James, then a little farther to Fairmount (can stop at Maple Lake nearby, see if you can spot the ghost light over the lake), make a pitstop at Lithuanian & Archer Woods cemeteries, and finish the day at Resurrection.

I've never known of that story Scaryd. It looks like a beautiful mansion. And I'm sure that in it's day it was one of the biggiest in town! That guy had to be very wealthy. How sad that someone can have so much good fortune in their lives and still be so unhappy that they feel they have to kill someone off in order to have a full life. How can anyone even think that they will live a happy and enriched life once they have taken another persons life away from them? They prolly didn't have divorce back then but there is always a better solution than murder. Heck, with all of that money he could have bought the other girl a house next door and just found a lot of broken stuff to have to work on all day long over there...... lol

Oh yeah ....back to the subject at hand.  I would love to spend a night in that Bed and Breakfast!!
