Starved Rock nature photos
« on: Oct 17 2009 - 10:10AM »
Hello all,
Here are some photos I shot while trekking through Starved Rock.
I think that this time of year is when bald eagles migrate through the park, allowing for good photos to be taken.
Enjoy the photos and check out the TREE MOOSE!!  :*:

Nice pictures!  I saw the tree moose right away, that's cute  :)

Starved Rock is supposed to haunted by a tribe of indians who died there.

and maybe catch a spirit or two! :Y:

Those are some nice pics you took there. I love to go to Starved Rock S.P. and have taken quite a few pics there myself and got winter ones with the frozen waterfalls. One time when I was there in the winter there were ice climbers climbing the waterfalls.

As long as the weather holds up, how about Saturday, Nov 14?
I will put the post in the excursion forum and see who else would be interested.
