The last one kinda looks like a Stormtrooper!

Nice finds... Do you happen to have the original, unedited photos available? Ones without zooming, copyright stamps, etc? I'd like to take a look at the originals.

Exzyle2k, we think too much alike on the nerdy side of things.  I was going to make a funny stormtrooper comment and you beat me to it!

They were sent.I made a mistake even though I had my camera but for some reason the new battery I put in before I got there drained clean while taking a bunch of pics (hmmm wonder why????. These photos are from my cousins digital who was with me that day. So I appoligise for the mistake. Because we took so many pics using both cameras and all compiled on one disc.
Also the date was wrong to it was 6-28-09 and not 6-26-09.

Ghost Radar
I was just surfing and landed on another paranormal site which will remain nameless. They are testing "Ghost Radar".

So I did a Google search. Apparently it is an app you can get for your IPhone or Android phone. The following is from the web site.

Quote
Ghost Radar attempts to detect paranormal activity by using various sensors on the device on which it is running. Like traditional paranormal detecting equipment Ghost Radar employs sensors that measure electromagnetic fields, vibrations, and sounds. However, traditional paranormal equipment can be easily fooled when simple mundane bursts of normal electromagnetic fields, vibrations and sounds occur. Ghost Radar sets itself apart by analyzing the readings from sensors giving indications only when interesting patterns in the readings have been made.

Ghost Radar employs a proprietary algorithm to analyze the quantum flux. This application does NOT detect EMF nor gravity. Readings for various sensors are analyzed to detect QUANTUM Fluctuations. Interpretations of the sensor readings are displayed graphically as blips on the radar along with numeric and textual readouts on the VOX. Use your Ghost Radar to hunt for odd changes in the flux. Hunters of all types may find anomalous areas of their environment where readings simply can't be explained. You be the judge. Are the results of your hunting evidence of paranormal activity?

The theory of what is happening is that intelligent energy can be made aware of their ability to influence the sensors of the mobile device. The various readouts are an interpretation of certain readings from the sensors. An intelligent energy should be able to influence the readouts and communicate with you. What those readings mean and how you interpret them is up for debate.

 :a102: Can they be serious?
There is no such thing as ghosts. They are flying saucer aliens, using their cloak of invisibility to screw with our minds.

It's a load of junk... Same as being able to run an EMF detector off your cell phone... It's junk, it's bollocks, it's impossible. Due to the sensors needed, and those sensors not being typically included on a cell phone due to the shielding of internal components, it's a scam...

Unfortunately, due to the recent rise in popularity of paranormal investigation, there's people who are trying to make money off gullibility. And it works... Just look at the two yahoos who got busted because they submitted pictures using the iPhone app that inserts "ghosts" into pictures you take.

Sites like that should be reported to FTC

AN ACTUAL CRAIG'S LIST PERSONALS AD

AN ACTUAL CRAIG'S LIST PERSONALS AD

To the Guy Who Tried to Mug Me in Downtown Savannah night before last.

Date: 2009-05-27, 1:43 a.m.  E.S.T.

I was the guy wearing the black Burberry jacket that you demanded that I hand over, shortly after you pulled the knife on me and my girlfriend, threatening our lives. You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings. I can only hope that you somehow come across this rather important message.

First, I'd like to apologize for your embarrassment; I didn't expect you to actually crap in your pants when I drew my pistol after you took my jacket. The evening was not that cold, and I was wearing the jacket for a reason. My girlfriend had just bought me that Kimber Model 1911 .45 ACP pistol for my birthday, and we had picked up a shoulder holster for it that very evening. Obviously you agree that it is a very intimidating weapon when pointed at your head ... isn't it?! I know it probably wasn't fun walking back to wherever you'd come from with that brown sludge in your pants. I'm sure it was even worse walking bare-footed since I made you leave your shoes, cell phone, and wallet with me. [That prevented you from calling or running to your buddies to come help mug us again]. After I called your mother or "Momma" as you had her listed in your cell, I explained the entire episode of what you'd done. Then I went and filled up my gas tank as well as those of four other people in the gas station, -- on your credit card. The guy with the big motor home took 150 gallons and was extremely grateful! I gave your shoes to a homeless guy outside Vinnie Van Go Go's, along with all the cash in your wallet. [That made his day!] I then threw your wallet into the big pink "pimp mobile" that was parked at the curb ... after I broke the windshield and side window and keyed the entire driver's side of the car. Later, I called a bunch of phone sex numbers from your cell phone. Ma Bell just now shut down the line, although I only used the phone for a little over a day now, so what 's going on with that? Earlier, I managed to get in two threatening phone calls to the DA's office and one to the FBI, while mentioning President Obama as my possible target. The FBI guy seemed really intense and we had a nice long chat (I guess while he traced your number etc.). In a way, perhaps I should apologize for not killing you ... but I feel this type of retribution is a far more appropriate punishment for your threatened crime. I wish you well as you try to sort through some of these rather immediate pressing issues, and can only hope that you have the opportunity to reflect upon, and perhaps reconsider, the career path you've chosen to pursue in life. Remember, next time you might not be so lucky.Have a good day!

Thoughtfully yours,
Alex

I don't think anyone will be detecting any Quantum Fluctuations unless they are working at the Large Hadron Collider, ooo! Watch out for that Higgs Boson!
Don't argue with an idiot, people watching may not be able to tell the difference.
