Bowen Building - Bartonville State Hospital

Bartonville State Hospital,  an asylum from back in the day located just south of Peoria.

Many service buildings appear to still be standing and being used,  the admin. building(Bowen Building) is abandoned and in disrepair.  Even on a sunny day it was imposing.






Didnt get too close, but got some good pics.  We drove by the entrance to the old cemetary but didnt venture there as I was feeling some bad energy.

 cher I've heard rumors that they will be opening up a building for overnight investigations. Didn't hear when.
