Gosh that's actually a good pic for a camera phone pic. It could be illusion sure but it sure looks like a soldier with an eye patch over one eye and one of those fold up kind of hats. The hat even looks like it is a green fatigue color. What does everyone else think? I'm eager to know if anyone else sees what I see. Good one Ghost

I don't remember this one at all! That's a crazy picture Ghost1! When I read what I thought it looked like I can't believe it cause I don't see that now. I see a guy that looks a lot like DRACULA! with a cape and all!!!

Ok, well I did something I've always said you shouldn't do, I went to Bachelor's Grove alone today............But don't worry I'm still alive. 

This wasn't planed at all, I was just taking a Sunday drive because I was bored and somehow I ended up there.  Kind of sucks because I had no camera or any of my equipment with me, but my camera phone that is.

One thing I noticed is that the Rippet tombstone has moved about 50' from where it used to be.  Also If you remember that is the tombstone where that flower appeared to move in one of my sets of pictures....................Well this time the whole darn tombstone has moved? 

I did find this in one of the pictures too, however it's the camera phone so it's not one of my best pictures...........But see what you think?

I've gone there alone REPEATEDLY.  It was my "special place" that I'd go to when my other half would explode on me for no good reason.   Thatk GOD we're not together anymore.

Thanks for bumping this Tommy!  I forgot to post my pic... not quite as clear as Ghosts', and likely matrixing, but it's always kind of bugged me when I come across it......taken 11-08-08.

Its a little creepy but its really just a broken limb.  The really creepy part is just west of the cemetery gates, where "Ms B" is buried.  The trees around her area are even more creepy.

I have gone to BG most of the time alone and I find it peaceful listening to nature and just being outdoors. Always before I enter the cemetery I let them resting people know that I come in peace and say a little prayer. I`ve even ventured to the old foundations alone and enjoyed my time there. I will admit in that area I felt like I was being watched but keep a positive mind set. I would not advise a woman to go alone at all because you never know who might be lurking there but dead can`t hurt you it`s the living that can.

No Tommy I never go at night. Once in the early 70`s when you could still drive in there 2 friends of mine and I went there at night and as soon as we pulled in the county mountie was right there after us. Actually he was cool with us and turned on his spotlight and showed us what it looked like. We sat and talked a little and told him honestly we were not there to do any wrong just wanted to see the place as it was my very first time going there. He wound up telling us about Peabodys Tomb and said it was a cool place to check out too!
