Well Saint when you say "it moves" that is not actually true. It "is" an optical illusion but it doesn't actually move. It appears to move. An optical illusion as I'm sure you know is when something appears to be something that it is not. Which means you meant to say that it gives the illusion of moving even though it doesn't actually move.

Great post Ghost1. This will certainly let you know that optical illusions are very real and that we have to be careful that we don't let our eyes trick us. I'm a sucker for optical illusions. However "Damon" you are not going to convince me very easily that this picture does not appear to be moving to you. Like Saint pointed out .... it is not the point of refference that you look at but the entire picture that appears to move so if you can honestly tell me that no part of this picture appears to you to have movement then please feel free to correct me bcause at this very moment I do not believe that you speak complete here.  And I am NOT calling you a liar. I am trying to open up a discussion with you about this subject so pleas..... the ball is in your court to correct me or agree with me. Or I guess you can ignore me if you choose but I hope that you won't bcause I am awaiting your response.

In fact this DOSN'T move at all, it is a single static picture.  It's a  optical illusion that makes the minds eye think it is moving..............But when it comes down to brass tacks, NO...It doesn't move!

So on this one Colleen is quite right, It doesn't move a bit....just appears to move, which is not true movement.
