Ghost1:
Local Police Station Believed To Be Haunted

PITTSBURGH -- Slamming doors, phantom footsteps and typewriters that type on their own are signs Homestead workers say a local police station is haunted. Now officers may have their proof on tape. It's a story that Channel 11 News reporter Renee Kaminski uncovered a few weeks ago. Investigators from the Greater Pittsburgh Paranormal Society revealed their evidence at a news conference Wednesday. They showed audio and video recordings from inside the buildings that validated the rumors of hunting's for years. Members of the Pittsburgh Paranormal Society call the mysterious happenings a residual haunting. They found a cold spot in a cell and research showed there was a hanging in there in 1982. Other unexplained items caught on tape include footsteps, doors slamming and a cable being pulled.

Workers at the police department said they are spooked, but not scared. They'll be staying in that building for at least two more years before the department moves.

This is from the first article on this..............

First, there's the phantom typist. Several people have seen the keys on a typewriter moving on their own. Others can't explain the attic door, which continues to spring open no matter how many times it's bolted. The chilling air that blows through enclosed hallways and around old cellblocks is also pretty spooky, the officers said.Denise Kelly, who worked at the building for years, showed Channel 11’s Renee Kaminski a room she and other staffers almost never entered alone. That's where local paranormal investigators set up shop when they visited. The mysterious incidents haven't just happened inside the borough building. The mayor showed Renee Kaminski a broken down snow plow that somehow started up last November without a key and battery.
