This picture was taken Wednesday 29, 2008 about 3:00 pm. on the Cherokee Reservation in Cherokee, North Carolina. The heads are aproximately 8-12 feet about the surface and were not seen when the picture was taken.  Rivers

I like this!  I really like it alot =D>  This is a great catch imo =D>

Michael - where exactly on the reservation do you go?  Do you have to get their permission to just walk around in the woods on the reservation?

I have just recently moved to Eastern TN and I am very interested in going over to the reservation and spend a weekend there.

YAY!!!!!!!!!  I am sooo taking you up on that! =D> Thank you!

I  have another question for you totally off the ghost topic........ I have recently started a collection of Cherokee pottery and I have since found out just how hard it is to find.  Are there places on the reservation that sell it?

yes...the pottery you want is made by Bigmeet...I can also show you some others but Bigmeet is the most famous and hard to get.   The baskets are also the finest anywhere

I think the pottery I have now is done by a lady.  I will have to check when I get back home to TN in December.  I love the baskets as well, they are beautifully crafted.  But the pottery is my all time favorite.  The different colors of the clay after it is heated is so unique to each individual piece imo.

YAY!!!  I'm so excited to meet you guys =D>

Rivers - I may have to take you up on your offer sometime!  I have family in NC (actually, my father is FROM there), as well as Cherokee in my bloodlines.   :)

They are a little hard to see but I do see them Rivers. Great eye to have found those! They really do look as though they are peeking out from behind the brush there. :Y:
