Hello everyone,
Here are a couple of orb photos taken at Bachelor's Grove recently.

Both of those pictures show true-blue environmental rings within the pictures.

These are usually caused by the camera, and not a paranormal happening.

If you look at the first picture, I see three orbs that are all showing a motion blur on the lower left-hand side (would be at about 7pm if it were a clock). Since all three orbs show the same effect, it can be ruled out that it's not paranormal.

What type of camera did you use when you took these pictures?

I used a small HP digital camera...

Do you know what megapixels the camera is rated at?

The pictures are large (1600x1200), however the resolution isn't very good. It's common on lower rated cameras.

If you can, try setting the resolution to something smaller... I'll give a quick rundown of why it would matter....

If a camera is rated at 2 megapixels, it means there's 2 million tiny little dots to make up the picture. So, if you have a picture that is 1600x1200, 2 million dots have to do more work than they would if the picture was 800x600. When you have a lower number of megapixels, the larger pictures tend to look fuzzier or less crisp than the same picture taken by a higher megapixel camera.

Thank you for your input! I appreciate it!
My little camera is rated at 2.1 mp.
I am thinkng I could edit the photos to a smaller size...about 800x600 maybe?
I usually use my standard 35mm Minolta.

Yes... If you go into the settings and change the resolution to 800x600, it'll not only look better but you'll be able to take more pictures because they won't be as large and won't take up as much space on the card or on the internal memory, whichever you're using.

A 35mm camera is great too, however you have to pay for film...

This is the perfect time of year to consider upgrades... Black Friday is a little over a month away, and retailers are ALWAYS running outstanding deals. I got my camera a few years ago (7.1 megapixel) that was a little more than half-price (got it for $169.99, normal price was $289.99) due to those deals.

I would recommend anything 6 megapixels or higher... That way you're guaranteed a good camera for whatever you're using it for, whether ghost-hunting, vacation, whatever.

I love this time of year for hunting.
