Just got back from a trip out to Bachelors Grove, I haven't even gone through my picture yet but this is one of the best trips yet. I met Marion76 and Rachael out there.
It was a very big day out there, met all kinds of people....which I'm sure that some of them will be new members too! I also met Edward L. Shanahan (http://edwardshanahan.com/) out there on one of his paranormal tours. Plus we met two very nice people that work with Ed on his tours and I believe that they will join the site too. We also met a cool guy named James and his dog from Ohio, who are going to join the site too....well him I mean, I don't think the dog will. :)
It was the busiest day I've ever seen out there, dozens of people in and out the whole time we where there.
I'll go through picture later, and see if we got anything!

It was a total blast! Ghost is one cool cat. And, Rachael, well.... she's a nut, like me, so..... she's the bomb. ;) We did have an incredible time. We even had a little paranormal experience. The air got really cold in front of me near the Newman headstone. Rachael felt it too. It got to the point where our arms and chests were really cold! And then it went away. It was pretty hot out today, so it was strange. Thanks again, Ghost, for a great time!! :)

Yup, that was a blast indeed! It was great to meet both of you guys! And that cold spot was pretty excellent. I've dumped my pics, but have yet to look trhough them. I can't wait to compare my little spot by the water, odd there was nothing apparent there....

Here is something very odd that Rachael found in a picture she took, I have no idea at all of what it is? If it's a lens flare of some kind I've never seen anything like it before. Anyone have any ideas?

Wow! That is really neat Rachel! Where in BG was it taken? What do you guys think it could be? You know, it seems that there is more of a dimensional or metaphysical energy present at the grove, than ghosts lately. With the wolf creature, pig head, colored lights and mists...what the heck is going on in that graveyard!! I wish I lived closer!

That picture was taken in the woods west of the graveyard down the path through the woods near that big odd clearing.
It was just a bit west of the paranormal group in that picture in my last post.
And yeah, your right...all kinds of odd pictures there!

Sweet! I almost went past these, because I thought it was just sunlight bouncing off something or other. For debunking purposes, I did see this light in my camera when I was taking it, it was too small to make out really. I'm glad you like them! Here are the other two light pictures, unedited but half sized. Whatever it is, it shore is purdy!

Those light pictures are just unexplainable. There was a lot of broken glass lying around. But I've never seen glass reflect like that. Very strange!

That odd picture of Rachael's looks like some sort of flame or energy to me, I've never seen anything like that in my life.
If you go out there again, I would be careful in the area you found that, maybe it's some sort of paranormal Venus fly trap? But this is a person trap. ter

That is a really interesting picture. I am totally at lost to what it could be. I have had the light flares on my pictures before but never like that. I guess it could be a crystal that just happened to be left there by someone. But I don't think that looks like the normal prism you would get off a crystal. I am just not sure. GREAT PICTURE

Refractions all bend, but this one curves and narrows. very strange, indeed!

My only conclsion is that it is an energy flare. Now, my thoughts are that it is either residual energy from an actual person that happened to be picked up on camera, or it is the remnants of a *being* that was 'produced' in that spot.
I have seen things like this before (not EXACTLY, but similar), but never on camera. I had always chalked it up to my aura-reading abilities.

Marion, I havea picture of you while we were in the cold spot that is priceless!
I was just looking through my pictures again and noticed something else neat with this light. If you look at each one in the order it was taken, it looks as if it get progressively stronger/clearer in each shot. There is an obvious difference in the quality of the pictures, but the more I look at them I'm not sure that accounts entirely for the differences in the light... any thoughts??

Hi all...newbie here....I agree, prism, refractions.....when I saw the colors my mind went to ROYGBIV.....the 2 colors that stood out are Indigo and Violet...we are missing some in betweens. So technically, can it still be prism/refraction? Now I'm going to have to take another look at the "shape" and try and tie this together.....how about the camera lens being slow or stuck some....it was pretty warm out and then cooler in certain areas of the woods...hence the shape isn't totally bent?? kool nonetheless.....:)

This is also from 9-21-08, I can't believe I didn't notice it before. These were taken 6 seconds apart. I believe at this time there was a woman in the same general area as myself, but she was a tiny little thing, in a hoodie and gym shorts, hair in a ponytail. I do not think this is her.

That is one great picture! I'm sorry to jump to conclusions like this but it doesn't look like a live person to me. There is not one ounce of color to it...NOT ONE! Everything about is grayish. If you hadn't had the other pic for comparison I would have said that it has to be a tree or stump or a stone of some kind because it doesn't look as though there is any life to it at all. But since you have the other photo taken secs apart then it had to be something with the ability to move out of the photo range and not be noticed by you as you were taking the picture. Do you remember taking the picture? Do you remember why you took it? I hope Ghost1 can inhance it. Great Catch Racheal.

I'm not sure why I took either of those pictures. I had just walked away from John and Marion, I was heading back towards the creek to try to recreate the pictures I had taken the first time I went there (that's a whole other story!).
It looks to me like a man walking along the path behind the fence (and yes, it's facing the pond) who is carrying a bag of some kind, and is touching his right hand to the brim of his hat. I do not recall seeing another person dressed in such a way that day, and certainly not at this point in time. It was pretty busy there about 30 minutes after this picture, but we still had the place mostly to ourselves when this was taken. There is something else in that picture that always caught my eye when I would look at it, which I suppose is why I never saw it before. I don't mean Something Else, just leaves playing tricks on me :)
My daughter has been having a field day mocking me over seeing stuff in pictures all the time, but even she was stymied by these.

I was just browsing a bit on the subject of Shadow People, and it seems that they commonly wear hats? I thought that was interesting, since this guy is clearly wearing one. I wonder what that's about, any ideas?

I love this pic even more now that Ghost1 has enhanced it. I see a person even more plainly but it still does not look like any normal fleshie that you accidentally got a snapshot of. It could be of course but it is very odd. I wish there could be more control over were everyone is like when you do a professional investigation some place but out there you just can't be certain that no one is going to pop up on a picture. Regardless.... I love this pic. Glad you caught it Racheal. Good catch. :Y:

I see what you're saying, but I think blooming just causes a fringe of color on something already present in the frame. See below, there is blooming present in the leaves in the top left and top right of the picture, where the leaves have a purple color between where they end and sky begins.

I was in Omaha for Thanksgiving and took a walk to the cemetery near my Mom's house. I got the same effect again, twice! Well, kind of twice, the first isn't as good as the 2nd. This is just some crazy trick of the light! I actually got quite a few neat light 'things' (I use the technical term), in that area. Check em out....

Cool light anomolies Racheal. You guys are all so smart. And I know that shows just how "not smart" I am cause this kind of stuff is surely kids play for you guys. I am certainly the dummy of the group. But I'm just glad to be part of a group of such knowledgable ppl who I consider friends.
John and Fred are so Technical savy that it blows my mind sometimes and Racheal you seem to hold your own with the best of the guys here. Marion will tell em what she thinks in a heartbeat. Then there's Gina ...... our Surgical Nurse! And Heather who blows me away with her memory and knowledge of almost everything. I'm sure that I've left out someone but I have a deep respect for everyone in our little group.
Oh yeah....Rivers and Rebug are both accomplished ppl and Shadow is our resident fireman. There have been so many new members in the past couple of months since I haven't been able to be on a whole lot....even some local celebrities I hear! You guys all ROCK!

Anyone know what this is in one of Racheal's pictures? The white circle inside my circle was not drawn on .... at least not by me. I think it is flowers or something natural but it's strange the way that it is in that semi-circle and it stops at the stone but whatever it is encircling looks like a little girl leaning against the stone. I'm sure it's not. Whatever it is ...is in the other picture but not the part that looks like the girl....just the white flower semi-circle.
