Good morning, and Hello!
I have been having a fine old time looking at pictures here this morning, cool stuff indeed!
I took the attached pictures this past Sunday afternoon.
Aside from feeling strange and somehow watched in one spot near the entrance, it was a pretty uneventful trip.
However, back near the creek was interesting. Looking north, towards the lake I see a fallen tree, and what looks like a rock in the water in front of it. But I couldn't focus on the rock completely ( both with naked eye AND through the lends), so I decided to snap a few shots. They were blurry so I turned on the flash. perhaps this is normal, and I'm just ignorant, but I found it odd that the pictures with flash are almost completely dark. I also find it odd that when you zoom in on that fuzzy rock that it looks like a different PERSON in each shot. Blonde girl with her head turned, robed figure, man with beard looking up to the sky.....
These are all unedited and therefore gigantic... sorry about that.
I'm also completely fascinated by the aura around this flower. I took a lot of pictures of them, and this one is just....cool.
I am a huge skeptic when it comes to the deceased leaving enough energy laying about to actually appear in any sort of human form, so I almost peed a little when I dumped these off the camera. What do you think?

Here are the rest.....
-
I like this one as well.... seems to be tree branches creating an illusion, but it sure looks as if someone if approaching the monument from the right.
-
Thanks for posting, you have some interesting picture there. Also kind of odd that it turned black when you used the flash??
Now on this picture here, I can see a women dressed in old style dress with a big hat on......anyone else see this? Again, it might just be my mind playing tricks on me. cho

WOW that's weird, it really does look like a women dressed in a old fashion dress? cho

Neat-O!

Sorry to be posting like a madwoman.... but here are two more cropped.
The first looks like someone in a hooded robe, with their left hand raised to the front of the hood, almost as if to pull it back...
The next pic is the next shot I took, the first with the flash, so I have brightened it a bit here, but it looks if he pulled back his hood to look at the sky! Hello bearded man!

That 1st one looks like a sandperson from Star Wars.....believe it or not, I have one that looks just like one too. cho
I think we'll have to get you a better camera, or at least one that has a better focus :*:

I can assure you, there is nothing wrong with my camera.
The ONLY place I got no clear shots was at the creek.
Proof.... :)

Well. that's odd? kn I've seen batteries go dead there all the time, but that's the first I've seen the focus messed with, Though nothing sunrises me there?

Is it just me or does this resemble the pic I got of a woman?
-
How about that creepy looking tree that's on the boarder of the cemetery & the fence on the west side of the cemetery? The one that looks like it's been peeled.
-
There were so many creepy trees there. I don't know which one you're referring to. They ALL creeped me out! LOL

Great pictures! I definitely see the woman in the picture Ghost quoted.

In terms of the pictures, I don't know about the blackness of the flash, however since your close shots came out fantastic and your distance shots... well... leave much to be desired (( emb )) I would have to say it's possible that a macro was set to put more attention on foreground objects instead of background.
Good point. Here is me taking a picture.... 'pretty! (click) Ooohh, pretty! (click) Yay! (click)'
These 'macros' you speak of never come into play, that sounds like some of that new fangled technology, and I fear it.

Do you use a still camera or a digital camera? If digi, when you look at the LCD screen, do you see a small icon of a flower in the corner? If you do, that means you have a macro set to allow the lens to focus on close items in the foreground, not distant stuffs. I usually leave all macros off when I shoot, so everything is treated equally.

I use a digital camera. And no, no flower icon, so I don't know what's up there.
I'm hoping to go back on Sunday morning, and am planning on spending some time over near the creek to see if I can get a better shot. Or at the very least be able to focus on that rock with my actual eyeballs. That's the thing that really weirds me out, whether looking through the camera or not, that was the fuzziest rock I've ever seen.
