Title: Grimes Girls Site 1990

Here are pics I have of the property of the house that was abandoned after the Grimes Girls Murder. Ed S. told me that all of this is gone now and has been filled in and stuff knoched down. Nothing paranormal here just history of what used to be there. The story goes after this happened the owner just left the place and most belongings, the house was burned down by vandals and what you will see is all that remained.  cho

Nothing that structure was the only one left and can`t help it people tagged it with grafitti.

The girls were dumped out at the roadside is that right. Do they think the people in this house had something to do with it . or did they leave because of the horror of it happening. What dummy thought it would be a good idea to destroy a house and a piece of history?  sometimes you gotta wonder which we should be afraid of the spirits or the humans

Well from what the story line is the people were upset about the girls being dumped along the road in front of their house is what I had heard so they split. Vandals burned down the house in the late 50`s or early 60`s. The property remained vacant for many years with the garage and foundations still standing. Someone bought the property and probably will develope it because it is in Burr Ridge and property is sky high there. Ed told me it is impossible to park on the curb now as the village installed 2 fire hydrants in front of the original driveway so if you park there it`s a ticket. Ed also told me the foundation is covered up with a couple of large boulders. On the foundation on the walls was a lot of graffiti and upside down crosses so I think some Satanic stuff was being done there. Yes a piece of history is gone now but the house had nothing to do with the murders or the dumping of the 2 Grimes sisters.  :^(

Thankyou Ed I apprieciate that for sure. I have taken a lot of different Pics from abt. 1981 til present of lots of places i`ve been to because a pic captures a moment in time. I have probably over 5,000 pics in total and have a very old one taken by a relative at Fairmount Cemetery.  :Y:

Thanks Colleen I plan on posting more pics I have of some different cemeteries from my travels through the State of IL.. I have found some that are kind of unique and the stones very interesting.  ;)

Thankyou, I took these when you could still go back there but now it`s off limits. There was a lot of graffiti on everything there including the Pink Floyd and yes they were a good band.  ;)

Yes amazing group...still was back in 05'. Anyhow, sorry for being off topic..haha.

Nowadays everything is off limits for saftey and whatnot thatnks to the freaks and goons in today's age.

There is a legend of a ghostly car that can be heard pulling up to the bridge and opening and closing of one of it's doors...presumably to throw the bodies of the Grimes sisters in the gully.

That is in the realm of some paranormal logic. If that event was something that caused the killer high anxiety then it could be a residual. Who knows if it was the type of anxiety that those kind of personalities enjoy I don't know but even if he enjoyed the feeling then perhaps he chooses to relive incident again and again. Who knows how these creeps work.???

One of my co-worker's mom had a friend who knew the Grimes Sisters.  She didn't know them personally, but her friend was supposed to go out with them that night, but their mother would not allow it.  Thank goodness for her sake!

The sisters, Barbara and Patricia, were walking on Damen Ave. to the Brighton Theatre to see an Elvis movie, Love Me Tender.  Sometime during their walk, to or from the movie, I don't know, is when they were abducted.
