scaryd, I happen to believe the cemetery should be maintained like picking up the trash and cutting grass ect. The people there are pioneers of the area and should be remembered in a positive way. Now if there are no more bodies buried there i`m sure the FPD or Cook Co. would of cleared the stones out of there a long time ago, then BG would not be very popular for the vandals and the serious paranormal groups such as ours. I`m glad that Exyle2k has it in his heart to clean the paint off the stones and when Rachael goes there she is always picking up trash in the area such as I do. If we let mother nature take over the entire cemetery it would just look so bad. This is just my opinion of how I feel about the area.
