Scientist: Alien life could already be on Earth

LONDON – Scientists and other experts are gathering in London to consider new ways — and new places — to search for alien beings.

Britain's Royal Society — an eminent group equivalent to the U.S. Academy of Sciences — is hosting a two-day event to consider the progress made and the challenges posed in the hunt for alien beings.

One astrobiologist says the best place to look for aliens may be right here on Earth. Paul Davies of Arizona State University said Tuesday that extraterrestrial life may have found its way to this planet at several different times.

If so, Davies says, the aliens could be "right under or noses — or even in our noses."

Yes... Cats are aliens... Of this I'm sure.

Cats are haughty, independent creatures because they're used to being the dominant species on their home planet. Here, they're reliant on humans most of the time. Back on Feline 5 or where ever they came from, they've probably got some super technology to open their own food... Here they can't even work a can opener. That's why your cat constantly glares at you. It knows that it's superior, but the inferior body it was assigned can't function to the level it needs.

That's also why you will sometimes catch your cat looking at you like it wants to kill you in your sleep. The only thing staying it's claws is the fact that if it does, it'll never get into that can of Fancy Feast.

Something about their home planet and native forms causes severe reactions to water, which is why cats hate it. Old habits die hard. They haven't yet understood that here, on this planet, water is a good thing.
