Does this happen to any of you out there, It's been happening to me as long as I can remember.
I'll see a person in my mind, then they call me on the phone within a minute or so........It's like I can see them pick up the phone to call, or hear them thinking about calling.

I've always been able to do it, It doesn't happen all the time though just now and then............Happened just now, that's why I started this post.

Yes that has happened to me but it's not that obvious so I don't know if there is anything to it or not. Usually with me I dont see them picking up the phone or anything that obvious. It's more like I will wonder why they haven't called and I'll think to myself that I must give them a call and bingo! the phone will ring and it will be that person! 

Now the thing that happens to me quite often is.......I have a guardian angel that tries to help me out because I can't stay organized.  I will be running around here and there and wanting to get home so badly that I start getting careless with things like money.....my purse,,,,,,keys ......papers that I need and so on.  Anytime that I am about to lose something or something of mine is going to get stolen I will get a little warning.  It's up to me to pay attention and it has taken me about 30 years to catch on.  The most obvious 2 times were ......

1.  I was walking out of a resturaunt one beautiful sunny day after taking all the kids and grandkids out to lunch.  I had a lot of money in my purse because I had just gotten a large bonus from work. Before I went into the resturaunt ....knowing that it was going to be hectic with all of the grandkids there.......I decided to put a large chunk of the cash in my purse and lock it in the trunk and put just enough for lunch in a small purse that velcros around my wrist so that I don't lay it down some place and have it stolen by a bus boy ...... this happens in Memphis sometimes.....anyway...I did this but when I went to close the trunk my angel was saying to me "don't do it" "check on that money first" but I ignored it knowing that I had done what I needed to do and went on in.  When I started to pay I noticed that I had put the large amount of money in the strap purse and the small amount in the trunk! Oh i thought ...that's what you were warning me about.  I said to my angel..."thanks ..I appreciate it but do big tragedy." So when we left the resturaunt something was nagging me after I paid the bill. And my youngest son kept nagging me too saying that "some voice in his head was telling him to make me check my money. I thought it was just because he didn't like the strapping money around my wrist idea so I ignored him also.  When we got to the place we were going and I went to take the strap off of my wrist......it wasn't there....gone! I must not have put it back on my wrist after taking it off to pay the bill.  If I had listened to any of the voices that day I would have been a lot better off. As it was I just had to make myself be thankful that it was extra money and not something that I had to count on.   

2. The other one is my keys. I put some things in the trunk one day and unknown to me the keys had fallen out of a bag that I had them in and fallen into the trunk.  That little voice said Plain as daylight that I should not close that trunk yet.  I thought why not.......I didn't even have any keys in my hand so there is nothing that could happen.  Then when I went to check the car to see if it was locked the voice said ....."don't lock the car without the remote .....you know the rule" but i was like......I have to and besides I haven't had the keys in my hand and I know were they are ...they are in the bag" .....againg the voice of my angel said ....what would it hurt to check?  I thought to myself ..."forget that..I'm in a hurry"...and I locked the doors and shut them. On the way in I checked in the bag and found it had a hole in the bottom. The keys had fallen out.

Now a lot of ppl would say that I had sub-conciously already known about these things and ignored them but I say no way did I know that the bag had a hole in it or that I had neglected to pick up the strap and put it back on my arm after I had paid the bill.  And no one can know just how clearly I hear this nagging little voice in my head.  I used to ignore it bcause I thought that it was just my own paranoia nagging me to double check everything since I can tend to get in a hurry and if I am not totally organized then I tend to lose things at this point.  With experience I have learned to stop and take a breath whenever I get even a nagging feeling about something like that. Of course you can't prove anything because if you do look down to find your keys in the trunk everyone ...including yourself most of the time...will just figure that you noticed your keys fall or your purse felt light or you didn't feel a strap on your wrist but I know in my heart that I have a guardian angel and I just have to take time to listen to her. 

These are only 2 of the hundreds of examples I could give. These are just the most memorable and obvious and for the sake of time, my fingers and all of our eyeballs I will stop at these 2.

Oh MY Gosh Ya'll I had a huge premonition today!!! It wasn't even about myself.  Yesterday my friend told me that he was going to visit this place that is in a great part of town. I mean no one would ever think twice about being there.  But I kept telling him that he shouldn't go bcause something terrible was going to happen to him! Everyone laughed at me but I wouldn't quit about it even though the whole time I was thinking to myself that I really should knock it off cause how in the heck would I know? And I didn't know how. All I knew was that I didn't want him to go cause it was dangerous for some reason.

Well of course he went and guess what?  He got mugged and I found out today that he is in the hospital in stable but serious condition!!! I was as surprised as anyone really.

Wow Colleen....I am so sorry about your friend.  That is an amazing story.  I will say a prayer for your friend

I know when I was young and the phone would be ringing (before caller ID was around) I would always tell my mom or dad who it was before they answered the phone.

Colleen I am so sorry for your friend.  My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

Thank you so much for your prayers and your concern Gina and Maggpie.  He is doing MUCH better now and is at home. Perhaps he owes his swift recovery to everyone praying for him.  This is the 2nd time that he has experienced what I call my Guardian Angel and he says that he is going to listen to me the next time.......but he won't. I guarantee you that if it is something that he wants to do bad enough he will not  go a different route just on my "intuition".

I remember once at the Casino he tried to apply it to a slot machine and I told him that it doesn't work that way so from then on he said that if it didn't work in that way then it wasn't worth talking about.      What can ya say to that????  /i]

I just had it happen again, and this time there is no way it was a coincidence.  Out of the clear blue I started to think about a heath insurance policy I had, then right that minute they called wanting to know if I wanted some new coverage that they now offer.....Wow?!?     Totally blew my mind, I swear I never seem to get used to this stuff when it happens.

You are right Ghost ... there is no way that you  could say that was coincidence! That was absolutely your intuition! Make sure you post it any time this happens cause then we will have an exact record!

A friend of mine and I would get it all the time.  We ended up calling it "TZ" ... twilight zone

Well I don't know what you would call what I'm gettin. Old Age maybe? I just went back a few post to find out just what the discussion is about here and I posted something 2 years ago. 2008. About a friend of mine getting mugged after I told him not to go some place....... for the life of me I cannot remember what friend that was or what the details are. I vaguely remember the incident and being worried about someone and I even vaguely remember posting that but that's as far as it goes. It's all just vague. I guess it's someone I don't see much anymore but the Casino reference means it was someone from my old life but who? And what? I don't remember going to the hospital to visit anyone at the time! I knew my memory was getting really bad. I can't keep up with anything lately but this is a whole new level of forgetting cause usually if you hear something referenced even tho you had forgotten about it you will go AHHH yes .....I remember that! Well not this time.
