OK THEN...the only way to settle this....
I'LL PICK YOU UP ON SATURDAY, JOHN, AND WE'RE GOING TO CRASH INTO A CHAIN LINK FENCE!!!
you can pick the fence of your choice, so you can be sure it hasn't been set up in any way!
-and I'm not saying that the chain-link itself broke, I'm saying what broke were some of those wire fastener thingys that attach the roll of chain link to the polls...the entire chain-link area would have just gone over the top of the car and fell back down into it's "normal position" instantly.
