The picture was taken on August 18th 2001, just prior to 9/11. It is a day that I will always remember.
There are two crosses in the picture, one being that of a bell tower on the left and the other is a fireworks shot that was taken by a friend (Steve Montgomery) with a 35mm camera set for a 4 sec time delay.
The picture to me is something you can't explain without adding divine intervention in the same sentence.
To me this is a gift to all of us, to remember where we come from and what was sacrificed for us!
